Hi I'm Susie

I live in Southern California. I am a wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife, and a mother to three children ages 6, 4 and a baby. I like to create things and my hobbies include cooking, sewing, and other crafts. I also love doing creative activities with my kids. I am blessed to stay at home, so I try to make the most of our days by planning simple, inexpensive activities and crafts we can do together.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ and that the LDS church has the complete and full restored Gospel. I am a Mormon because this church has the authority to seal together families for all eternity. I am a Mormon because I have read The Book of Mormon, and received a witness from the Holy Ghost that it is the word of God.

How I live my faith

Music plays an important part of our worship services. Selecting hymns for our meetings is one of my responsibilities at church. Music and hymns also plays a big role in my personal faith. I sing hymns and other songs to my children to help teach them about Jesus Christ, the Gospel, and good values. Hymns give me comfort and guidance and the words have answered many prayers.

What is the Relief Society?

Relief Society is the women's organization in the church. In Relief Society, we learn the doctrines of the Gospel of Jesus Christ together. We can share our own thoughts and experiences with our sisters and learn from each other. We also visit and teach each other in our homes, care for those who need help, and have activities for self-improvement and just plain fun. As a young mom, Relief Society has helped me make friends with other sisters in my same situation, fed my family when I had a new baby, and taught me many things through the activities and lessons. Giving back and helping others are key things I've learned through Relief Society. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

My family is everything to me. Families can be a safe haven for learning about the Gospel, education, teaching values, love, and FUN. Family is one of the few things we can keep with us after this life. Show more Show less
