Hi I'm Kylee

I love my husband and entire family. I am pregnant and cannot wait to be a mommy! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to create things and attempt to be crafty. Music in all forms brings me immense happiness. I enjoy cooking and hope to improve that skill. My husband and I have been married for over 3 years and we are expecting our first child, a baby girl. We love her so much already and cannot wait to meet her in the next few weeks.

Why I am a Mormon

I am grateful to have been born in the church, however throughout high-school I had to decide on a daily basis whether I was going to continue to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ or give in to peer pressure and temptation. Being one of the only members in my high-school it was imperative for me that I had a strong testimony and deep understanding of my values. Throughout my life as I have faced different challenges I have discovered that trials are so much easier to endure when paired with the knowledge of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and His great Plan of Happiness. I now understand the importance of trusting our Father in Heaven even though we may not understand a particular tribulation we are called upon to experience. As I have continued to learn and grow in the gospel, and am now married in the temple and starting an eternal family of my own, the blessings that are promised to the faithful are to beautiful to ever consider straying from the faith. And that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I work with the young women in my ward and absolutely love my calling. They are all so wonderful and are great examples to me. Especially now that I am expecting my own daughter, my perspective has changed and I am better able to love and serve them as individuals. I truly enjoy teaching and look forward to it whenever I get the opportunity, though I fear I always get more out of preparing the lesson then the girls do from listening to it. I often feel inadequate in many aspects of my life and feel that my efforts are never enough, but I have a testimony that the Lord makes up for our weaknesses and as we continue to exercise faith and work hard to build the kingdom we will be blessed, and our Heavenly Father will be pleased with our service.
