Hi I'm Michael

I lived in Sammamish Washington. I did Ballroom Dancing. I am on a mission in Scottsdale Arizona, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I did Ballroom Dancing at Lone Peak High School for my junior and senior year in high school. I like reading, mostly fantasy. Some history. I also like swimming and playing video games. I will be attending Utah Valley University. I also like acting and singing. And, whenever inspiration hits me... writing. Poems or short stories. Whatever inspires me at the moment. Right now I am on a mission to Scottsdale Arizona. I have served in Springerville/Eagar and I am now in Pinetop. I serve on the Apache Reservation in the White Mountains. I love helping people with come to a closer belief about who their Heavenly Father is even if they don't believe in the same things I do.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born into it. I am a fourth-generational Mormon. What I really enjoy about the Church and the Gospel is the idea that families are together. The families on both of my parents sides are really big. I really enjoy being able to see both sides since they are strong in the gospel. With that connection, we are able to share Gospel Principles and Eternal Truths and lift each other up to Christ and his Eternal Love for each of us. There have also been times when I have made mistakes that when I ponder on them, I get really frustrated with myself! Sometimes I have felt trapped. I want to have as many blessings I can have from Heavenly Father. I know that He wants to bless His children to the fullest extant possible. But I know that we each have to be worthy to recieve them. And sometimes I feel like there are blessings that He is waiting to give me. I have had many times where I have plead to my Father in Heaven to forgive me. And He has always been there to forgive. While life isn't easy and we all make mistakes, it has been a huge comfort to me to be able to know that I can pray to Heavenly Father for forgiveness and that I can recieve that forgiveness by renewing the promises I made when I was baptized. The promise being that I will keep His Commandments. I am grateful to be able to go to Church to partake of the Sacrament. By taking the Sacrament, I am able to renew that promise of trying to be like Jesus Christ. The confindence that comes from forgivness in indescribable! Heavenly Father loves all of us! No matter what we do. I look forward to being able to share this message and how it is possible to anyone I can! That is one of the reasons I now serve a mission.

How I live my faith

My age group in the ward is very great. We all try to help and support each other in the things we do. Acting, Singing, Performing, Piano Recitals, or academic achievments. What has been fun for me is to go see my friends do their respective gifts that God gave them, and use them to help others. I have decided to go on the mission to help people. I learned when I was at home that I know that Heavenly Father loves and knows me. And that no matter what we have done, He always will be there to bless us and welcome us back to Him through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
