Hi I'm Leah Day

I've lived all over the United States. I come from a family of all girls. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I want to help bring people to Christ and feel the happiness that I do in my family. I have four younger sisters and I want to set a good example for them. I attended Brigham Young University for a year and was studying Chemical Engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have gained a testimony for myself of the truthfulness of the gospel. I have prayed and received an answer. I have felt God's hand in my life! There is no way that I could deny the blessings and knowledge that he has given me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching others about Christ. I share the message of the gospel through Facebook and in person with those that want to hear more about our church.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Leah Day
Absolutely! The Bible is Holy Scripture and contains the words of God. I have gained so much from reading the Bible at different points in my life, especially from the New Testament as I read about the words of Christ. The Bible and the Book of Mormon, another book of scripture, are meant to be read together and both testify of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Leah Day
We can come to know our Father in Heaven more fully by developing a personal relationship with Him. This will come as we pray, read the scriptures, and follow the example of Jesus Christ. As we align our will more fully with His, we will understand his plan for our lives and how we can become more like Him. Show more Show less

What is the Relief Society?

Leah Day
Relief Society is a wonderful women's organization that allows women to gather together on Sundays as well as during the week. We work together to help those in need, learn the gospel, and become better wives, mothers, and disciples of Jesus Christ. The Relief Society has accomplished many wonderful things since it was established in 1842. Show more Show less
