Hi I'm Maverick

I'm from Utah. Currently serving a mission in the California Sacramento Area in the Spanish language. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I come from a family of 6. I grew up active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love to play sports. I played tennis in High School. I like to play Basketball and Flag Football in my church team. I've played Basketball, Soccer, Track and Field, and Baseball as a kid. I enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities. I'm currently serving a mission in Sacramento, California. I love learning, not necessarily school. I like to learn about nutrition and anatomy. I hope to study to be a Nurse Anesthetist in the future.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church all my life. I live in a neighborhood that is very active in the church and provided a good example to me as I grew up. I know the church is true because I have received a witness from the Holy Ghost that it is true. The more I learn about the church and the principles that it teaches, the more I feel that it is true. Christ is the one who leads this church, and it is His church.

How I live my faith

I go to church and participate in the blessing of the sacrament every week. Growing up I worked voluntarily at the Bishop Storehouse to give food to those who are in financial need. I am now serving a two year mission to help others receive the truth of the restored gospel. I've found that my faith is something that should be part of every aspect of my life, and not just at church on Sundays. Religion connects with everything I do, and I try to remember that in all my everyday activities.
