Hi I'm Marshall

I am an Idaho boy. I am fortunate to have have many friends and family in the gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Idaho. Throughout my life I have always been in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My family has always been active. Although I am fortunate to have many family and friends that live the gospel, I have definitely faced trials in my life. I am a runner. For the past two years I have enjoyed this hobby and continue running daily. Running helps give me perspective and take care of the body that Heavenly Father has given me. I love being with my family. Family is the greatest blessing that I have been given. All of my memories of childhood and later on in life will be surrounded by family. There have been numerous times where I have felt alone and had no-one else to turn to. Fortunately, my parents and siblings were right there and ready to talk me through my problems. One of the joys I find in life is being around people and making them happy. It is such an awesome feeling to find a new friend who possesses similar interests and has gone through similar trials. I believe that God places people like this in our path to help strengthen us in our times of need. I have recently graduated from high-school and am ready to take the next step in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have received a witness that Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I also know that he later restored the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ again on the Earth. I know that only through Jesus Christ that I can repent of my sins and have the opportunity to again, live with my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

When I think of how I live my faith, I cannot help but to think of the commandments God has given us. These commandments are not suggestions, but words of wisdom that help us come closer to God and provide us with necessary happiness. My membership in the church has provided me with many opportunities to serve others. Serving others not only brings me personal happiness, but also those on the other end of this great blessing. Recently I have had the opportunity to teach five year old kids in Primary (Sunday School).
