Hi I'm Tyler O'Brien

Ive grown up in 4 different states. I coach swimming for a job. I also play almost every other sport. I am a Mormon

About Me

I was born on November 8, 1994. I am now getting ready to serve a full time mission. I've lived in 4 different states, been to 3 different elementary schools, 2 Junior highs, and 1 high school. I have played basketball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, and have swam growing up. I was given the opportunity to coach a local swim team as well. I love learning about history, hate learning about math, and spelling isn't a strength of mine.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is the true Church. When I was thinking about whether to serve a mission or not, I was able to realize by just going to church and listening to what people had to say, and the feelings that I was able to recognize from their teachings was a confirmation for me. This helped me to be able to get through not only Junior High, but High School as well.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity of being in the Decons and Teachers presidency. I served as second counselor in both quorums. I was also able to be the first assistant in the Priests quorum. During that time, I was able to grow closer to the members of the quorum and build better relationships with them. I was also able to become closer to some of the ward members during this calling. I was able to take the sacrament to the elderly people who cannot make it to church. By doing so, I was able to not only serve them, but serve the Lord as well. I was able to make great relationships with those families.
