Hi I'm Robert

I was inactive Mormon for a long time because I moved around the U.S.A. I am now active and I'm going to the temple soon

About Me

well I'm not exactly sure what to write here so ill just list things I like to do. writing - reading - playing game (both video and board) - watching movies - playing sports - and pretty much anything that can be classified as fun.

Why I am a Mormon

well I was inactive for a very long time (years in fact) and when my parents decided to start going to church again I decided I wasn't going to join them. my mother was royally ticked off ,you know how mothers are, and we made a deal if I prayed each and every night for a week and still didn't want to go I would be off the hook. after 5 days nothing had happened so I was pretty sure I wasn't going to church but boy was I wrong! I went to visit my handicapped little brother at his school on his birthday to celebrate with his class when I heard a some one behind me telling me to turn to my left and go talk to those guys, those guys were marine core recruiters, when I turned around no one was there or any were near me! next Sunday was the first Sunday of the month what we call "testimony Sunday" where people get up in front of every one and tell why they believe this is the true church, I had never done it since I hated speaking in front of people but that same voiced showed up and convinced me to get up there and spill my story, to this day I firmly believe that voice was the Holy Ghost answering my prayers, you cant hear that voice and not believe!

How I live my faith

I love teaching children and I love the way there faces light up when they get the answer to a question right. I had a calling to be a assistant scoutmaster (boy scouts) for the decans (younger guys in the church), I'm in the middle of trying to organize a Saturday basketball game but getting guys to show up on time is nearly impossible. I'm the guy that you call when you need help with anything.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Robert
I have always wanted a family of my own and some day, if I meet the right girl and I'm worthy of her, I hope to get married in the Temple and have a family I can love with all my heart Show more Show less
