Hi I'm Travis

I have grown up in the Salt Lake valley my whole life and I love sports and the outdoors and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Im just a young buck that barely graduated high school but it has already been an eventful life haha. I have been playing basketball my whole life and is really one of my favorite things to do. I was lucky enough to play on my High School Team all four years and be a part of that program. I love almost every sport and have played them all at some point in my life! I have also been part of the scout program and was able to get my Eagle and really learn from all the merit badges and leaders that worked with me. I really love to be active and now I'm leaving to go serve a full time mission in Uruguay! Couldn't be more excited for the opportunity to just serve people and let them know they are loved.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church not only because I was born into it, but I have personally gained my own testimony and witness of how true it is. The feelings I get during different experiences and being able to feel the Spirit in my life make me never want to leave. I would be crazy to give up the love and support of my ward, family, and especially Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ. They truly do love me and I feel it often and wish I could repay them with something more. God and Christ want the best for me and for everyone else in the world, they are just waiting for us to recognize and realize Their love in our life. I wouldn't be the person I am today without the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. That's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I come from a ward that didn't have many youth my age let alone youth in general. This had a bad side obviously because there weren't many, but at the same time we all became really close and were like extra brothers and sisters to each other. I have been able to lead the young men of our ward in different positions and help the bishop as his first assistant. Like I said earlier now it's time to serve a mission!
