Hi I'm Ben

I grew up in Utah. I love being a friend, playing soccer, and singing off key. I'm happy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Northern Utah to a wonderful family! I am a son and a brother. I have worked on a farm throughout my teenage years every summer with my grandpa, and I love the smell of corn being watered on a hot day! I love playing sports, especially soccer, but I also love basketball, ping pong, softball, tennis, etc. I am preparing to serve a two year LDS mission in the Fresno California Mission. And I will be learning Spanish! I love smiling, being around friends and family, fall weather, feeling peace in my heart and mind, and I love serving Jesus Christ!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings happiness! Will how much knowledge we have been given, we truly should be happy. Christ has provided everything for us. He has made all thing's possible through His atonement. This brings me true happiness knowing of His love for all of His children, including me. I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because miracles do happen and they happen all around us. Being a part of this church brings me so much closer to His love. It gives me more of an understanding as He lends me the tools I need in this life. And with so much color, so much beauty, so much love in this world, I'm glad the Lord is by my side to help me realize it. I love this gospel. I was baptized and confirmed a member of the church at age 8, and always had the church in my life, but I didn't gain a testimony of my own till my teenage years. Christ lifted me up when I needed Him most and has been there all my life. He truly does save us and bless us as we seek Him. I'm a member of the church because Jesus lives. Because He is my Savior. Because His love brings happiness and peace.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the necessities to prepare for my mission, serve in my ward, and strive to be a good example to others in everyday activities. Faith is an action, and we have to practice what we preach to gain a testimony of what we are doing. While not perfect, I strive to reach out to others in kindness and befriend them. I attend the temple when I can, and strive to obey the commandments of the living prophets and church leaders knowing that their advice and counsel will bring me closer to Christ.
