Hi I'm Marshall Hawkes

I'm a Missionary, a Newyorker, and a Dirtbiker. I force fumbles, pick-pockets, score touchdowns, and kick dust, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love doing anything that is recreational, since I was just a tiny boy I have been playing a variety of sports. In my years of life, most of my time has been spent playing American Football, Basketball, Running Track, Weight Lifting, Hiking, Camping, and Dirtbiking. I am the biggest competitor on this planet, Before coming to Tokyo Japan where I am now serving a Mission, I graduated from High School. I have 3 brothers, one who is an amazing example to me and serving in Moscow Russia right now, and the other 2 are little rugrats back home trying to follow in our footsteps both spiritually and physically. Ever since I was little I have enjoyed making things, and dealing with numbers, so after my mission I want to become an entreprenuer and go into business and inventions. I cant wait to settle down one day and make a family of my own. I love going out with friends, listening to music and dancing! There isnt much in life that I dont like doing, and nothing that Im not willing to at least try! Im a Football Player, Track Sprinter, a Point Gaurd, a Dirtbiker, an Eagle Scout, and last but not least a MORMON!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen the hand my Savior has had in not only my life but in the life's of others. I have such a strong testimony of this church and the work that goes along with it. Miracles have occurred throughout my life and I feel the love my Heavenly Father has for me daily. I can see the end goal in life and want to return to my family after this life and through exercising faith in the Lord and his Son Jesus Christ I can do just that.

How I live my faith

Along with my peers in the LDS church, we did many service programs. Such as serving at our Community Care Center, every week, helping the sick, afflicted and elderly.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Marshall Hawkes
God gave us a body because he loves us, and when we were sent to earth we made a covenant that would care for our bodies. Temples to God are holy and sacred places, and in his eyes and the members of the LDS church we look at it the same way. We stay away from harmful substances and partake of healthy substances to respect our Father in Heaven for the body he gave us. Show more Show less
