Hi I'm Staci Hurst

I'm the youngest of 6 kids, an aunt and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters. I'm the youngest child. I was baptized as well as became an aunt on July 5, 2003. I have 5 nephews and 4 nieces. Family is my everything! We've got each others back! I love ice cream and Idaho Spuds!!! I'm sure it's from the Hurst part of my blood. I'm planning on serving a mission when I turn 19 this June! Ahhhhh!!!! It's so crazy how fast it's coming!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised being Mormon. I've always been active in the gospel, but I've not always wanted to be involved. When I was about 12 or 13, one of my brothers went inactive (stopped going to church). I love my brother and seeing him not going to church made it hard for me to want to go. I started not wanting to be involved in the church as much when he went inactive. I've overcome not wanting to be involved and I'm stronger than ever. Seminary (church class taken during a class period at school) is the place that my testimony was strengthened the most. Getting to leave the craziness of school for like an hour to go to seminary to learn about the gospel and feel the spirit is an amazing experience. I've learned to love and support my brother, even though he isn't active in the church right now. I'm grateful for the love and support my family, church leaders, seminary teachers, and friends have shown me and it has helped me stay strong in the gospel.

How I live my faith

Right now I am preparing to serve a mission. I'm taking a couple institute classes and teaching in Relief Society.
