Hi I'm Trevin Jeppson

I grew up in Utah. I love my family. I'm a computer geek. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 21 years old. I've been to a year of college at Utah State University, and will go back to finish schooling in a couple years. I have always had a large interest in computer's and technology. Since I was 2 I've loved playing video games, and learning to do new things on the computer. The most important thing to me however is my family. I have a wonderful Mom and Dad, and 5 younger siblings. I have 4 younger brothers and then my youngest sibling is my sister who will be 6 in August. I love them a lot, they have been there for me in all my trials. I have been very blessed in my life despite many trials that have come up over the past few years. I love looking on the bright side of things and trying to see the good in everyone.

Why I am a Mormon

Much of my life I believed the LDS faith was probably true, but didn't know for sure. Just within the past few years as trials have come up and I have turned to my Heavenly Father I have really come to know the truth. 2 years ago I left to go on an LDS mission but I was not ready spiritually or emotionally and decided quickly I needed to repent for things I had done before I could honestly serve a mission. I came home after only 3 days in the MTC and from that point started working to get myself ready to serve. Now, 2 years later I have come through several trials I never thought I'd have to face. Thankfully through those trials I was able to grow closer to my Heavenly Father and my savior Jesus Christ, and really use the atonement to not only repent of my past mistakes, but become a better person. I am finally leaving to Lansing Michigan to serve the mission I have tried so long to be ready for. It still is not easy, I miss my family but I know that 2 years of my life is a small sacrifice in comparison to the many blessings and mercies which I have been given. I also know that there are many people out there searching for this truth and I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to bring it to them. I am a Mormon because without the help of Jesus Christ and the blessings which the LDS faith brings I would not have made it this far in life. I am a Mormon because I have tried living a lifestyle not aligned with Christ's teachings and have found that it only brings sorrow and pain. I am a Mormon because I know for myself through the experiences of the past 2 years that our Heavenly Father knows each and every one of us individually and loves us more than we could possibly imagine. I know that we can always turn to him and he will be there for us. I am a Mormon because I know that it is who God wants me to be, and I know that it is the way to true and lasting happiness.

How I live my faith

Growing up I often served in leadership positions in my youth groups. I do my best to find opportunities to serve others and try to serve my family as well. I taught sunday school for a about a year and for the past year or so I have been teaching the childrens classes at church. I always want to be someone the Lord can count on to get something done. I am now leaving on a 2 year long LDS mission. I am going to Lansing, Michigan and will be striving to live in such a way that I can help people come closer to Christ every day.
