Hi I'm McKenzie

Blessed and proud to say I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born in a tiny city in Utah and grew up surrounded by farms. I'm currently a student at Brigham Young University- Idaho and loving every minute of it. I'm working on becoming a nurse. I was born into the gospel and was raised with my four older sisters. I'm a proud aunt of 3 boys, 2 of them newborn twins. Over the years, I've enjoyed doing cheer-leading in high school, riding my horse, making memories with my family, and being outdoors with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it gives me such happiness that can't be found elsewhere. I was born into this church, but was given the option if I wanted to attend church and later become baptized. Without the church, I am lost and feel a sense of emptiness that can't be filled. It gives me peace to know that I can see my loved ones that have passed on after this life. I am a member because I know I have a merciful Heavenly Father that loves me and wants me to return to him. If nothing else, I know I will always have this church. I am not a perfect person, I lack a lot of talent, but I am given a since of purpose and direction in this gospel.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I live my faith by attending my weekly service and sharing my testimonies to others. I happily visit teach 2 other sisters in my ward and check on them regularly. I am not an official missionary of this church, but I seek opportunities to be a missionary to those around me who are in need of one. Most importantly, I not only believe in the church, I live it and I love it.
