Hi I'm Tyler Ercanbrack

I'm a Runner. A Missionary. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I ran x-country for Springville High School. I love to play soccer and just about any sport! This includes the outdoors (hiking, biking, camping). I love my family and spending time with them and my friends as much as i get the chance. I will be attending Southern Utah University soon. And am currently serving as a Missionary for the church in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Where i have been blessed to learn much and be a part of something a lot bigger.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the church because I feel the most true joy come while living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have received an answer by a confirmation of the spirit. It was a feeling of peace, warmth and Joy. It has come as I prayed to know if the gospel as I had been learning about was true (The gospel is plan of our Heavenly Father, for us to return home; this is made possible through Christ). I didn't think i would receive an answer but I really hoped I would, I felt like I needed to know. I received my answer. We believe that revelation has not stopped, the heavens are not closed, and men still speak with God. I can testify of that. It has truly helped and blessed me.

How I live my faith

When times get hard, I try to turn to the lord and try to put all my trust him. Through running I have come to know that its when it gets hard you have push yourself the harder. I have tried focus on making the choice to follow Christ. One of my favorite scriptures comes from the book Joshua of in the Old Testament, its in chapter 24 verse 15. "As for me and my house, we will serve the lord." I have tried to make that as my rule. I just ask, am i serving the lord? It has helped me make the hard decisions that seemed important. I know because of those good choices, my Heavenly Father has helped me. Right now I am serving as a missionary of our church and daily have the opportunity to defend and share the faith I have come to know.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Tyler Ercanbrack
By exercise of the faith we have. Even if all you have is a desire to know of our savior! The lord will work with you. Faith is like a muscle. It must be exercised, and built. When I go running, I become a stronger runner. When you exercise faith, by doing things like prayer, you obtain results and your faith is enlarged! I promise as you exercise your faith it will be increased! Show more Show less
