Hi I'm Areina

I was raised in New Zealand, I reside in Australia but consider Philippines my home. My name is Areina & I'm a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small country town in New Zealand where the majority of people are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I was taught by my parents from a young age how to treat myself and others with respect. The things that were taught in the home (eg: manners, clean language, repect for others) was reinforced at School because the teachers themselves held the same values. I moved away from New Zealand leaving behind strong family & cultural ties that had become a large part of me. Our move meant that there was less family and almost no culture - We'll nothing that I was use to. For a short time I felt that I was at great loss and out of place until I began to better understand who God and his Son is and their place for me with them. I had discovered my real roots as a Daughter of God and member of His eternal family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want eternal happiness. Eternal happiness is a gift that is available to all because of Jesus Christ but dependent on each individual. So long as we do our best to be obedient to His commandments and laws, we can have the 'Greatest' of all His gifts - an eternity with Him and our families. This is all I really want, and this is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I've recently returned home from an 18 month service as a Full time missionary in Philippines. That was 18months that I gave to share my faith and belief in Christ with others. Since coming home I still have opportunities to share those things with work friends and others by the way I choose to live. I choose to be kind. I choose to Attend Church meetings throughout the week. I choose not to follow the crowd. I chose along time ago to LIVE my faith through my actions.
