Hi I'm Katrina

I grew up in Washington State. I am an author. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student at BYU-Idaho. I love to learn, and I watch documentaries for fun. My passion is writing. I am an author and stories are my life. I love to read, watch, or write a good plot line, and I will often give up time on my other passion, sleep, in order to get a little further on a story. I am engaged to be married to the love of my life. We will be Sealed in the Temple and be able to spend eternity together.

Why I am a Mormon

I had to learn to be Mormon. I had to convert, though I have been a member of this church all of my life. During my teen years I struggled in where I wanted to be in the church and what kind of Mormon I wanted to be. I went on a path of discovery and had to realize what I believe. I finally sat down and asked myself if I believed the key doctrines of the church. My answers were 'no duh' and I decided if I believed I had to act in accordance with what I knew. I went back to church and picked up my scriptures. I have never been happier.

How I live my faith

I love my local ward here at university. The people are wonderful and really supportive. I try to keep a casual approach to my faith. My favorite thing is to go visit a member of my ward and get into a deep, relaxed conversation about the Gospel. I love the girls I visit teach and wish I could be more helpful in their lives. I live with wonderful girls and am blessed to be where I am.
