Hi I'm Chris

I'm from Washington State, I'm a redhead, I love working on cars, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Huntsville, Alabama, but I have lived in Washington State for most of my life, except for a few years in Sydney, Australia. I've been playing ultimate frisbee and soccer since I was about five years old and have picked up playing volleyball a few years ago. I love living near the Cascade mountains in Washington, where I get to hike every summer and never get bored of the beauty I see. I'm kind of a strange person because I like to stand outside in the rain, wearing only shorts and a t-shirt. I've always had a deep love for cars since I was a little kid and I'm going to school to get a Bachelors of Science in Automotive Technology Management.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because God has provided a way to live with Him again; that is only through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ came down to earth to teach God's truth, to be the perfect example of that, and to suffer for our sins in the garden of Gethsemane and His death on the cross. As the Son of God, Jesus Christ taught the gospel as the pathway back to the Father and organized His church to teach His doctrine. The gospel of Jesus Christ has helped by giving me the strength & comfort I need to get through the difficult times, strength in my relationships with family & friends, and the guidance to grow as an individual where I could not grow otherwise.

How I live my faith

The more I study the life of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I gain a deeper understanding of who He is and what it was that He said & did in his time on earth to provide the path for our salvation. The more I learn, the more I realize that I need to follow His perfect example and help guide others on the path to eternal salvation. Jesus Christ paid for our sins, but didn't eliminate our personal responsibility. This life is my opportunity to pay Him back as best as I can.
