Hi I'm Dexton Armstrong

I grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah. I currently serve as a missionary in the Washington D.C. South mission. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love music. I've played violin, piano, guitar, cello, and I've sang. I've also tried every sport that I've come across. My favorite of these are: Volleyball and fencing. I've read every book I own at least five times, because I always get something more out of it. My family has always been a big part of my life. I live in a family of seven, consisting of the two parents, two boys and three girls. I am the eldest child, and I love being the example to the littler ones.

Why I am a Mormon

At first, I was baptized because I was raised in the church. But as I grew older, I just went because everyone wanted me to. About a year ago, I became aware that my mission age was rapidly approaching. I began to wonder if a mission was right for me. It took me six months of praying, fasting, and thinking, to realize that I want the world to know of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to be able to repent and have the happiness that I have. I am a Mormon because I know that this is the only true gospel to get back to my Lord and Savior. I cannot wait to show my love to the Savior because of the sacrifice that he made for me on the cross, when he was crucified. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me, and wants me to return to live with him. There is no greater blessing than to return to His Kingdom. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I serve in the Washington D.C. South Mission (which is pretty much North Virginia). I have given two years of my life to Heavenly Father where I serve Him and the people of Virginia. I get to work with my companion, Elder Falcon. I wake up every morning at 6:00AM so that I can prepare for the day. I live by the standards that are set for a missionary. Every day I put on a white shirt, tie, slacks, and occasionally a suit. I study, proselyte, and serve others throughout each day.
