Hi I'm Caroline

I am the second yongest of nine kids. I love to ski and play guitar. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am Sophomore at University, and i love to play in the marching band. I am well acquainted with late nights, and early mornings, and know all the hardships of being a student. Despite all this, i still love to learn and cannot ever get enough.

Why I am a Mormon

My family line is full of mormons, even pioneers who crossed the plains for what they believe in. My parents carried on the tradition and taught me and all my siblings about the gospel principles and how to be good members. But it is so much more than this. My parents could never force me to go to church. It was always a choice. Each of my siblings and I had to discover its truthfulness for ourselves in our own way. Through scripture study and earnest prayer i was able to find out for myself when i was about 12 years old. Since then i strive to live the gospel standards.the gospel does more than give me something to believe in, it gives me direction in my life.

How I live my faith

I am currently the leader of my age group of young women. I find it important to be an example to all the girls in my ward since i am the oldest teen. I try to make a point of showing up to all activities and keeping a good attitude while there. I also watch my actions outside of the church environment, because i know that the younger girls see me around school. I like to show that i care. I never say no to an invitation to do service if i know it is withing my ability to do so. I also never say no to an invitation to speak in a meeting or bear my testimony, even when i am scared to do so.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Caroline
Your family is the first people you meet. They will help you sculpt your life in positive and negitive ways. But despite the negative, they will always, always be your family. Families are the only thing that last forever. The Mormons believe that because of gods plan, he has prepared a way for us too be with our loved ones for ever. This idea is beautiful. This means that no matter how far away you get from your mum and dad, brothers and sister, that you are never ever truly apart. therefore you are never going to be left alone. Show more Show less

What is faith?

Caroline
faith is being able to close your eyes and for once not do everything all alone. Faith is taking a step back when everything is falling apart and letting god into your life to put it back together. Show more Show less
