Hi I'm Kendall

I'm a Mormon and I love it!

About Me

I was born in Indiana, but raised in the South. I've lived in Georgia for the past 13 years. I am currently going to college at Brigham Young University- Idaho, and I absolutely love it. I love being out doors and trying new things. My favorite thing to do right now is go four wheeling. I love the beach, but its only fun if my family comes, they are so important to me and I love them more than anything. I am the proud aunt of a four month year old boy, and he is the cutest. I love the gospel and the happiness and security it brings me. It's truly been a blessing in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As a little kid, and even during the beginning of my teenage years, I relied on my parents and their testimonies, I never really searched to find my own. I realized I already had one, I just needed to nurture it, and learn more in order for it to grow. There have been a couple times when I have really struggled with my faith, and lost sight of the Lord. I am so grateful for the Holy Ghost and his power, the spirit is always what reminds me of the truthfulness of the gospel and brings me back to it. I know that this gospel is true. I know that the atonement is real and that we are so lucky to have a God and an older brother who loved us enough to perform what needed to be done. I am so grateful for repentance, without it I would be lost and very sad, however with it I am happy and optimistic. This gospel has brought me so much joy and understanding, and I know it can do the same for everyone. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in the activities. I love serving as well, its always a unique opportunity to meet others and to bring them joy, which makes you happy as well. I am currently an indexer in my ward, which is similar to doing genealogy work, and I am awful at it haha. I love it and try my best, but i'm still learning and hope to be able to get better at it as time goes on. I also love visiting teaching as well. I struggle with it as well; however, it's truly made my life better by knowing that someone is there and actually cares.
