Hi I'm Dave M. Davis

I'm a photographer in Anchorage Alaska. I'm a father of three with an AMAZING wife! I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have the amazing blessing of doing what I love everyday for work photographing homes! I get to see some pretty amazing homes and meet some great people along the way. When I am done doing what I love at work, I go home to another love - my family. We have three great kids and enjoy spending time with each of them. My family has been one of the most amazing blessings in my life! I am so grateful for the opportunity to be sealed to them and to know that we can be a family forever. When I am not doing photography or being a dad, I love riding my mountain bike. I usually do this with my kids and occasional with some friends! Owning a small business, being a father and serving in church makes it a challenge to find the time to get out on my own, but honestly I find my true happiness being with my family and serving in the church. I haven't always lived the gospel standards and can stand as a witness that when olive the Gospel, I find true happiness. I have seen both sides of the table and I am on the Lords side! There is no greater joy than living the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Holy Ghost has helped me to know that it is the Church of Jesus Christ on the earth today. Christ is the head of it and utilizes a modern day prophet to lead and guide it! The teachings of the church are the pure doctrine of Christ. The authority of God is on the earth in the Priesthood! The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ, and is an incredible example of our Saviors love his children! I am a Mormon because my Father in Heaven has proved to me that this is the true church!

How I live my faith

My faith is my life! Everyday and every night I live my faith! My thoughts and my actions (as much as I can) are turned to Jesus Christ, or at least I try! I am not perfect at living my faith but I sure give it my best effort! My calling in the church is with the men, I am responsible for them. I love them (try to at least) and help them to love others through their service in the church. One of my goals is to get out once a week and visits families of the church that are in need. I try to share my testimony of living the gospel and the joy that can bring to ones life. I find immense joy in being in the homes of those that need help! Seeing them turn to their Savior Jesus Christ is one of the sweetest experiences. When I am lost in the service of others, I find my true happiness - work goes better, family time is sweeter and my relationship with my Savior grows stronger and stronger!
