Hi I'm Frost

I grew up on a cattle ranch in western Utah. I graduated valedictorian of my high school, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently studying computer engineering in college. I am an avid reader, and have enjoyed the gift of music in my life. I have sung as a tenor soloist in various youth competitions, and enjoy participating with various community and school choirs. I grew up in sagebrush and dust, and I have a very special place in my heart for the desert.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I truly believe in this gospel. I have faith that this church is the only true church of God. In the scriptures it says that "Men are that they might have joy", and I know that following the commandments of God is the most straightforward way to receive joy in this life. I perceive that every part of this gospel, every calling and commandment of the Lord is designed to improve our lives, such as the direction from latter day prophets to abstain from alcohol and harmful substances, or the law of chastity that protects God's children from the emotional and physical dangers of immoral behavior. This gospel is truly the path to happiness in this life and in the life to come. I know that when I am neglecting the spiritual aspects of my life, I suffer in mind and spirit because I don't enjoy the companionship of the Holy Ghost or experience the enveloping love of my Heavenly Father. But when I study the scriptures and respect the Lord, I do have the experiences that continue to build my faith in Jesus Christ. When I struggle at times, I can rely on the atonement of Jesus Christ to give me strength.

How I live my faith

While at college, I've had the opportunity to organize weekly activities for the many other young adults in my ward. I've learned that when I serve others, even in very simple ways, I am blessed.
