Hi I'm Lauren

I grew up in Southern California. I'll be serving the beautiful people of New Zealand for 18 months. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Proud LDS member. I'm Samoan, very family oriented and cultured. Some of my favorite things I like to do, are going to the beach, drawing, and eating. I love playing sports basketball, softball, volleyball and especially rugby, 7's or 15. My family is my motivation.

Why I am a Mormon

I know without a doubt in mind that this is the only true and restored Gospel on the face of the earth. I know that the four books, the Holy Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price are whole, true and complete words of God. That they play and synchronize in harmony revealing the truthfulness of the prophets. I know Joseph Smith to be a chosen prophet of God to restore this Gospel back to the earth. I'm so grateful for the Plan of Salvation that our Heavenly Father has made for us. That this is not the end, there is life after death. And we will be together with our loved ones who have passed on and we will all be reunited with our Heavenly Father and brother Jesus Christ. I love this Gospel with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church weekly, visiting and lending a hand to the elderly women in my ward with my Mother and by being an example to my friends, family and co-workers.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Our bodies are a gift from God. "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness..." Genesis 1:26. He created us in His image, so it would only seem fit that He knows what is best for us. And to keep our bodies and minds healthy and strong God gave us the Word of Wisdom. No tobacco. No Alcohol. No coffee and tea. No illegal drugs. If we obey and apply these teachings to our lives we will be blessed. Show more Show less
