Hi I'm Daniel

Born and raised in Utah. I love to swim, play frisbee, and big cities, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just recently returned from my mission in Chicago Illinois! I found out that I love being in big cities. I also found out that I love sharing the gospel with others! Besides that I enjoy swimming and playing frisbee, both for fun and competitively. I actually enjoy going to school and will be starting college in just a few months. I plan to study chemical engineering, but who knows if I will end up sticking with that. I love thinking through puzzles and trying to learn new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love Christ's gospel. I know that this is Christ's church from so many different experiences that I have had! I know that he loves us and wants what is best for us. From my experiences, I have found the best way to be like him, and to eventually live with him again, is through following the principles of His gospel, found in their fullness in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It all just makes sense in my mind that he would continue to provide us with the knowledge that we need to be like him today through a modern living Prophet and Apostles.

How I live my faith

I had the chance to serve as a youth leader in my congregation(ward) for several years. I also was able to serve a mission and share the great knowledge I had of the gospel with many amazing people. Besides that I enjoy studying my scriptures to learn more of my Savior Jesus Christ, as well as serving others like he would have us do! Every day I try to serve and love those around me, with Christ as my perfect example.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Daniel
The Book of Mormon was a book written by many Prophets. These were all men descended from the Prophet Lehi who took his family out of Jerusalem in 600 B.C. Lehi and his family were led to the Americas where they became a great people. The records were passed down and each prophet wrote his own teachings and prophecies as well as the history of the people. Eventually the record came to a man named Mormon who compiled all of the records into the book. He passed it on to the last Prophet to write in the book, his son Moroni. Show more Show less
