Hi I'm Anders

I'm from Idaho. I love being in the outdoors and the water, and just having a blast with my family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a big family so family is very important to me, I love being in the outdoors and enjoying nature; hunting, camping, hiking, rock climbing, you name it, I've either done it or plan to in the near future. Growing up I spent a lot of time working hard, whether on a farm or construction of some kind which has ingrained in me the desire to build my own house and own a good sized piece of land so I can raise my future family with some good quality hard work and a simplified and efficient lifestyle. I believe in dressing nice so I'm kinda like a green, high class, country boy. But most importantly of all I am a son of a King, a prince and heir to eternal life, I am a son of God.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have come to know for myself through fervent prayer and scripture study and really just in observation of the world around us that God created this beautiful world for us to live in and I know that a place this beautiful could not have been created by chance, it is too perfect for that. I also know that Joseph Smith really did see God and His son Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus is the son of God and that because He took on Himself our sorrows and our sins, we can be forgiven of our sins. I have personally felt this in my life. Most importantly of all I know that God loves us and knows us personally, He knows our needs and we are His children. He wants us to be happy and He wants the help us, we just have to let Him. The evidence of is church are the works. An untrue church would not abound in such good works as this. I know that through reading the Book of Mormon all can learn for themselves the truthfulness of this great gospel.

How I live my faith

I constantly am striving to improve myself based off the teachings of Christ and His Prophets and Apostles on the earth today. I know that while nobody is perfect we can all improve in some aspect of our life if we seek to be better and really just try. I am currently serving in the Texas Dallas Mission and I seek to be an example to all around me.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

No not all mormons are required to serve a mission but all young men are asked to serve a 2 year mission and they are eligable to do so now at the age of 18. Young women are given the choice to serve, they are not asked to as the young men are but, they are welcome to serve should they desire to. I think that one important thing to know is that every member is a missionary in there own homes and communities. As a members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints we believe that we have the obligation to share the gospel with all who will recieve it. Show more Show less
