Hi I'm Dalin N. Ashworth

I grew up in Utah, went to Alta High School and am now preparing to serve a mission in San Fernando California.

About Me

I am extremely into physical activity. I often lift weights or play sports in my spare time. The sun is my friend except when it burns me and I work as a lifeguard. I didn't exactly grow up a member of the church but great friends have helped through tough times and I am soon to be serving a mission in San Fernando, California. I'm not sure what to write on here or who will be reading it. I don't often talk about myself. I love singing and music of almost any kind with a few exceptions. I really want to join a branch of the military after my mission but I'm unsure of which to join either that or become a fireman or major in mathematics and physics in college. I'm just an average kid I guess so that'll be all. Thank you...? I think it's weird that there is more room to talk about how you live your faith than in the about me section. Just sayin.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be. My family aren't active members so I go to church by myself and do a lot of things without them. I was inactive for a long time as well but I don't know, I just had a feeling one day that I should start going again so I asked my friend if I could go with him and it only progressed from there. I felt welcome and different, happier you could say. I choose to be a member because being a member helps me to be a better person and to walk in the footsteps of Christ. I feel like it's the right path and the right thing to do. Strong friendship continues to help me grow and strengthen my testimony.

How I live my faith

I recently received my mission call and will be graciously accepting it and serving a full time mission. I am a home teacher but other than that I guess I haven't been really participating in my ward, branch, or community. That's all I guess.
