Hi I'm Robert Mortensen

I am a retired dentist. I worked for the US Air Force, US Army and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

About Me

I am married with three children and six grandchildren. I am a dentist and have worked for the Air Force, Army and currently retired from The Veterans Administration. I enjoy home repair, yard work and weight training. I enjoy serving in the Church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that the Gospel and Church of Jesus Christ have been restored to the earth. I believe that God has also restored the Priesthood, the authority to act in his name. With this Priesthood authority, the ordinances of the gospel can be performed. Husbands and wives can be married for time and all eternity so that their union will continue past death.

How I live my faith

I am currently working with the full time Missionaries assigned to our local congregation the Church. I enjoy visiting and helping the members of the Church in our area. I have served as a worker in the Temple in Anchorage Alaska for several years. I have also served in the Church as a clerk over finances.

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

Robert Mortensen
We are children of God and he wants us to be able to live eternally with him. Eternal Life is the life that our Father in Heaven lives. He has given us commandments that will help us to live in a way that will enable us to return to live with him. Show more Show less
