Hi I'm Kelly Bischoff

I grew up in Wyoming. I am a mother of 6 Children and 4 step children. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Montana but my father worked construction so our family moved often until we finally settled in Wyoming when I was about 10 years old. I am a mother of 6 and a stepmother to 4. I love working in my yard, reading and I enjoy sewing clothing, especially for children. My husband and I are semi-retired and hope to do some traveling in the future.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized a member of the church when I was 11 years old. As I learned the gospel it felt like I was just reminded of truths I already knew. Since I was baptized I have always been active in the gospel. As I follow the truths that are taught I gain strength which helps me to deal with the trials and difficulties of life. I know that we have a loving Father in Heaven that knows us each individually and is there to guide us and help us navigate through this life. One way the Lord guides us is through a living prophet. Just as in ancient times we have a prophet on the earth today that reveals the word of the Lord to us.

How I live my faith

An important part of my faith is to serve others as Christ did when he was upon the earth. I have served in many areas of the church, right now I serve the in the nursery. I teach the 18 months to 2 year olds each week. Our little class is the first experience they have in the gospel away from their parents. It is important to me that they have a positive experience as they learn about their Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. As I come in contact with others each day I try to help them however I can, whether it is simply by smiling and asking how they are or perhaps just being a listening ear.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Kelly Bischoff
We are taught to read the scriptures daily, as I do I grow closer to my Heavenly Father. I gain strength and understanding of the Lord's plan for. When I am struggling reading the scriptures softens my heart and helps me to feel the love of my Heavenly Father and those around me. As I prayerfully study the scriptures the Holy Ghost helps me to know what I learning is true. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

Kelly Bischoff
The Holy Ghost is the third member of the Godhead, each being a separate being. God the Father, Jesus Christ his son, and the Holy Ghost, a personage of spirit. The Holy Ghost testifies to us of the divinity of Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. The Holy Ghost can guide us in knowing right from wrong. The Holy Ghost is a comforter to us in times of sorrow, fear, illness etc. As we live worthy the Holy Ghost will be our constant companion providing these blessings. Show more Show less
