Hi I'm Jennison

I'm 18 years old. I play basketball. I'm going to serve a mission in Washington Tacoma. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a typical 18 year old guy, I grew up in Utah and I recently graduated from high school. I played basketball throughout high school and won a state championship my sophomore year. I am the youngest of three and have an older brother and sister. I love sports, music, and hanging out with my friends. I plan on attending BYU for school when I get back from my mission in Washington.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a Mormon because I know it is the true church on the earth. I found that if I live the teachings of the church then I am happy and when I don't I am unhappy. My conversion came slow. As I read the Book of Mormon consistently and prayed about it I came to understand that it was the word of god and the spirit confirmed that this was the true church. My testimony has greatly been strengthened this passed year in school and it has been a guide for me and helped me choose the right. I found that when I humble myself and follow gods plan I am blessed. I love the church and it has taught me to love other people. No one is perfect but as we strive to be better good things happen. I know Jesus is our brother and savior and that people can still receive revelation today. I know Joseph smith saw God and the son and that he translated the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I attend church services weekly and participate in sacrament meetings. I also take the sacrament to people who are not well enough to make it to church but would like to take it. I have been a youth leader for four years in my ward. I home teach and do service for older and single people who can not do some activities like shovel their driveways. I represent some of the young men and meet with the bishop once a month to help plan activities and upcoming events.
