Hi I'm Julie

I grew up just outside Washington DC. I'm a Missionary learning Spanish and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up just outside Washington DC. I'm a city lover. I love people. If I could have a job where all I did was talk to random strangers and get to know them, I may have hit the jackpot in a job search. I love baking and hosting parties! I did one year of college and now I'm serving a mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the church is true. I love Jesus. It's hard to be a Mormon, but it's worth it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith like I live my life, in everything. I go about my day remembering that there is a God, He loves me, I am His daughter. This knowledge motivates me to pray, read my scriptures, help others, and just live better today than I did yesterday.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Of course not! We believe in blessing ALL of God's children, meaning everyone, not just people who are Mormon. Mormons participate in tons of humanitarian work. In addition, we try to help everyone we see. One time, I was at a McDonalds with a friend and I asked a stranger if I could throw away his trash for him. Afterwards, my friend asked, "Is it part of your religion to be, like, really super nice to people?" I smiled and answered, "Yes, yes it is." Show more Show less
