Hi I'm Richard

I'm a husband and father. I'm a college student. I'm an English Teaching Major. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like reading books, as well as writing. I'm a dad. I'm in my third year of college. I've served a mission for the Church and had many wonderful experiences there. I enjoy learning.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church, but I grew up having a broken home. My parents divorced when I was 6, and my church attendance was stagnant in times of my life. Although I was baptized at the age of 8, I feel like I'm a convert in spirit because of my inactivity within the Church. For my conversion story, and why I'm a Mormon is because I desired to be active in Church again. I found out where to go for church through seminary, and made great friends. My conversion to Christ and His Gospel progressed when I had a personal, sacred grove of my own. I served a mission, and with reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it, I came to find through the power of the Holy Ghost that the Book of Mormon is true. I continue to be a member of His church, and follow the footsteps of the Savior because I know His Gospel is true, and the Savior has blessed, and blesses me, beyond measure.

How I live my faith

I live in a married student ward. I serve as the Sunday School secretary in my ward. I help with keeping track of church attendance, and am still learning how to perform in this calling.
