Hi I'm Darrin

I grew up in Las Vegas Nevada, married with 3 kids and work at 7 different hospital in and around Las Vegas.

About Me

I am involved in the medical field and enjoy helping others and relieving the suffering of others. I love to travel and spend time with my wife and family. I enjoy a good movie especially with others. I like to learn new things and like to fix things around the house. I enjoy listening to music it seems to calm my soul.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been Mormon growing up as my parents taught me the truth they knew. I have studied and through my own service and spiritual experience I know that we have living prophet upon the earth along with the return of the priesthood power. I have found many answers to prays through my reading in the Book of Mormon and my scripture study.

How I live my faith

I have had may calling in the ward and stake and I really enjoy serving and seeing people become re activated and introduced in the church. I have taught CPR in the past and I often give lectures on medical topics to groups or other organizations.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Members are encourage to serve were ever they live but full time missionary service is recommended by men and women who are worthy and have a desire to serve full time . Men have to be at least 18 years old and want to serve full time and have completed there application, then they can be considered by local leaders and the Prophet. Missionaries are not paid and this is voluntary service and are usually supported by family members but is some cases there local congregation and possible the Church. This service is selfless and helps others to learn about the true nature of Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
