Hi I'm Paij Palmer

I'm 23 years old. I live in Cedar City, UT and I'm a SUU alumni. My husband and I have been married for 3 years. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Blanding, UT. At the age of 5, my family and I moved to Snowflake, AZ. I grew up in Snowflake surrounded by family and friends who were eagerly involved in the lds church. I was blessed with a testimony of this true church at a young age. I distinctly remember the first time I felt the Holy Ghost testifying to me. I was learning about Joseph Smith and I had the most pure and distinct feeling that he was a prophet of God who restored the church to the earth in these ladder days. At the age of 18, I moved to Cedar City, UT where I attended Southern Utah University. I met my husband in January of 2012. We become best friends and eventually started dating. We married on August 25th, 2012 in the Snowflake temple. We have now been married for 3 years. I recently graduated with my degree in elementary education. Jayson will graduate this December with a degree in family life and human development. We enjoy movies, car rides through the mountains, fall weather, and family time. We love this church and know without a doubt that it is what brings happiness to our lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know that the gospel is what brings happiness into my life. I know that my Savior came to this Earth, and he atoned for my sins. Because of His sacrifice, I have the opportunity to be forgiven of my sins and strive to become like Him. I know that Joseph smith is a true prophet. The spirit has testified this to me. I know that I have the opportunity to gain eternal life and have an eternal family if I obey the commandments and strive to become like my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet on the earth today. He and his apostles have been called by Heavenly Father to lead and guide our church. I know that Heavenly Father's plan for us is a plan of happiness. I have seen this happiness bless the lives of those who strive to live the gospel. I love this gospel and I know it's true.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as the primary president in our young married student ward. I help organize the nursery. In the nursery we teach our young children the fundamental practices in our gospel such as prayer.

Are Mormons Christians?

Paij Palmer
Absolutely! Our church is centered around Christ. He is the focal point of our faith and our beliefs. As the prophet Nephi says in The Book of Mormon, "We talk of Christ, We preach of Christ..." Jesus Christ is the savior of all mankind and the only means that we can return and live with our Father again. Show more Show less
