Hi I'm Trisha

I grew up in Idaho. I'm married and am the mother of four teenage boys. I am a Registered Nurse. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in Southeast Idaho and I'm the oldest of seven children. My husband and I have been married for 21 years and are the parents of four teenage boys. Our oldest son is currently training to be a missionary for our Church and will be serving in Paris France for two years. He will leave the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah and flying to France early in August. After years of being a full-time mom, I returned to college when my youngest went to Kindergarten. I work full-time as a Registered Nurse. I love being a Nurse and helping others. I love to volunteer and to serve others. If I ever find spare time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. As a family, we love to travel, go to sporting events (especially baseball games), camp, and play with our extended family members. I find joy in raising my boys and hanging out with my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a life-long member of this church. I love to read the scriptures and ponder the teachings I find there. My testimony of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ is very precious to me. It brings me peace, joy, and hope. I know that through the Priesthood of God, which is here on the Earth, my family is sealed for time and eternity. I have no doubt we will live together after we leave this life. I am thankful for the miracles I see wrought in my life through the Priesthood. I also know my Savior, Jesus Christ, atoned for my sins and ultimately gave of His life, so we can return to live with Him and our Father in Heaven someday. I continue to live the teachings of the Gospel every day because it makes me happy!

How I live my faith

I have recently been asked to serve as a Ward Missionary. As a Missionary, I am to focus my time and attention to sharing my beliefs, and helping others share their beliefs, via social media. I have served in many leadership positions within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including the Primary, which is an organization for children (age 18 months to 12 years old) and in the Relief Society organization, which is for adult women. The Relief Society is the largest organized group for women in the world. I also volunteer as a Visiting Teacher, meaning I have three women who I visit with, watch out for, pray for, and serve within our congregation. I have also spent considerable time working with the youth of our Church. I love teaching them and watching as they develop their own testimony and live righteously. I enjoy spending time at my children's schools and chaperoning their activities.
