Hi I'm Kelly

I grew up in Tucson, AZ. I served the Lord in Croatia and Serbia. I love purple. I'm married to my best friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love doing so many things, I don't know where to start! Mostly I love swimming, playing ultimate frisbee, and reading science-fiction. If I can jump into any sport, I do. Have you any books to recommend, please tell me what they are! I love learning new things, mostly about new science discoveries and facts. I also love maps and traveling places just so I can use them. Music is a big part of my life as well. I play the violin, piano, sing, and I play a little bit of the guitar and ukulele. I have completed almost two years at college, studying physiology and developmental biology. I recently served a mission in the Adriatic North Mission. Learning Croatian and Serbian has been quite an experience. It was such a fantastic opportunity to be serving the Lord in such a capacity. I married my sweetheart in the Mesa temple last August. I love being married to my best friend.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. My mother was also born into the church, and my father is a long-time convert. I have constantly seen the Lord's hand in my life. Small miracles, little feelings, and life itself is enough to witness to me the plan and love of the Creator. I have received personal revelations throughout my life and I don't know what I would do or where I would go without my faith. I would be lost. I KNOW this church is true.

How I live my faith

In middle school and high school I was always the "Mormon kid," along with the few other LDS kids there. But I'm glad everyone saw that and the example I tried to set. People knew what I believed in and looked out for me. At college I served in my ward (congregation) by organizing activities every Monday for kids to come together and have fun and get to know each other. It really made me feel love for my small 'family' up at school like I do for my family at home. I served a mission in the countries of Croatia and Serbia. I was not only be preaching my faith, but continually living it as well. I am currently serving in my congregation with my husband by organizing monthly activities.
