Hi I'm Kory Nikolas Johnson

I play basketball. I am serving a mission in OKC Oklahoma, speaking in the spanish language. I´m a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old. I am serving a Mission in OKC Oklahoma. I am speaking in the spanish language. My favorite things to do are play basketball and go to the beach. I love my family more than anything on the earth and I miss them tons! I was born in Mesa AZ and moved to Aliso Viejo California when I was 13 years old. I have dealt with one or two problems in my life. One of them is diabetes! I was diagnosed at age 15 at the end of my freshman year. It is all good though! How you keep faith and how to grow closer to God is by trials. So like the Prophets have said, be thankful for trials. #WeCanDoHardThings

Why I am a Mormon

I think a solid reason as to why I am Mormon is because at the young age of 8 years old I was faced with death... and in the hospital´s ER waiting room, while laying my head on my mothers lap, I looked into her eyes and told her I wanted to see Jesus and my Heavenly Father. From that moment on I had the desire to return to live with God once again. As I grew I found that my desire to return with God again was within reach. That through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and enduring to the end I might live with God again. The Church of latter Day Saints has the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and is the only true way to return with God again.

How I live my faith

The people in my area have always been inspirtational in my true conversion. I love all my leaders and friends who are apart of the church. They have helped shape me to what I am today. And so, I just do it. Simple as that. I love Christ and I will stand as a witness to his life and his name at all times and in all places.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Kory Nikolas Johnson
Personally as a Mormon, I live a normal life. I went to school. Played on the basketball team. I date girls like any other normal teenaged guy, and I live life to its fullest. Though, living life to its fullest, to me, is not going around to parties and endangering myself and others. It is serving my fellow man. By being a friend to those who need it most. And by walking around day by day with a smile on my face. Show more Show less
