Hi I'm Chandler

I live in Nevada. The country I'll be serving my mission in is Chile. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play basketball and recently won a state championship with my team. After serving my mission in Chile for the next two years, I'll be going to BYU Provo for college. This last year I was able to be the seminary council president and help serve those kids attending seminary. I'm pretty tall and when I'm not busy at home or hanging with friends, I'll be playing sports, mostly basketball.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member all my life and it just has always felt right. I know the teachings in the Book of Mormon and bible are true and when I obey them I tend to do better in my life. The teachings from our prophet is exactly what is needed to help us stay virtuous and good in this ever-decreasing moral world. I know my prayers are answered and that god does look after me and is with me when I'm doing my best to be good. This gospel means everything to me and I'm so glad I get to dedicate 2 years of my life in service to The Lord and his people.

How I live my faith

I try to always pray morning and night and then read my scriptures and live the commandments and teachings that are in the scriptures. I've helped my community by building a flagpole for our new baseball parks; it was my project for my Eagle in the Boy Scouts program. I go home teaching and try to help the families I'm assigned to in the community. We do whatever they need help with.
