Hi I'm Elke

I am from Ludwigsburg, Germany. I love being around family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Germany. I'm the 2nd of four girls and life at home was never boring because of that. I love my family. I studied Early Childhood Education and worked as a kindergarten teacher. Being around kids always makes me happy. Music has always been a big part of my life. I love playing the piano, I love singing (mostly to myself). I served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints first in the Alpine German Speaking Mission (waiting for my visa) and then in the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission. It was a wonderful experience to meet new people and share what I believe in with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church all my life. I love the joy and peace the gospel brings into my life. That is I know that I can be with my family forever and that knowledge means a lot to me. It is worth every effort to work towards reaching that goal step by step.

How I live my faith

I try to be an example to others, by living my live the way Heavenly Father would want me to. That is something that I am working on every day of my life. Before I came on my mission I worked with the youth in my area at home. I was involved in organizing events, camps, etc. I loved doing that because I knew that I could help make a differnence in their lives. That's where I learned that the most important thing you can do for other people is serve them and lead by example.
