Hi I'm Rachel

I'm a daughter, sister, friend, perpetual student, and engineer. I'm a huge tennis fan. I love studying about fluids!

About Me

I'm a sister and daughter. I'm Chinese-American, but I think I'm mostly American. Racket sports are my favorite type of sport, but soccer still holds a special place in my heart. I love to watch movies, read, and be with family and friends. I am currently pursuing a doctorate degree in mechanical engineering. Engineering is something I've always wanted to do since playing with Legos as a child. I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for my entire life for which I am very grateful.

Why I am a Mormon

I do not know many things with complete certainty in this world. But I do know that both Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live. I have seen too many evidences in my life to deny otherwise. They live. I know they love us perfectly. They are ever watching over us and wanting us to return home.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by first doing the little things--like daily prayer and scripture study and attending church regularly. Doing these things consistently helps build my faith and trust in the Lord and in His plan for me. As I have served in the church, I have noticed and learned so many things. One of the greatest lessons I have learned is that God loves each of His children individually. He is aware of them and their needs. I have felt His love so many times in my life--both when it was specifically directed at me or when it was directed toward the people I was serving at the time.
