Hi I'm Tony Pesqueira

I`m a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Montreal Canada! I love Soccer and Ping Pong!

About Me

I am a Mexican-American who speaks English, Spanish, and now French! I am currently serving a mission in Montreal, Canada and it is super sweet! It`s definitely hard sometimes but it`s totally worth it! I love being able to talk to people from all over the world! The coolest part about my mission call is that I am called Spanish speaking but I get to learn French also! I have the opportunity to serve in English, Spanish, and French on my mission! I`m so grateful for this sacred opportunity to serve the Lord and I`m very humbled to be able to do so. I try to recognize every single day the blessings that the Lord puts in my life. I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ so much!

Why I am a Mormon

Having read the teachings in the Book of Mormon and having prayed about their truthfulness, I know without a shadow of a doubt that the teachings inside the Book of Mormon are true and I know for myself that Joseph Smith truly was a Prophet of God and he saw Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father and through Joseph Smith the true gospel of Jesus Christ was restored on the earth. I have had so many experiences that have reaffirmed what I already know. The happiness that I feel when I live this gospel is incredible. Though at times life is hard and it brings you down, our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are always there to pick us up because they love us unconditionally in such a large way that none of us can comprehend it. I know that this church is true and I encourage all to read the Book of Mormon and to pray about its truthfulness with a sincere heart and real intent.

How I live my faith

I recognize that all of us humans on the earth are sinners and we make mistakes everyday. We shouldn`t judge people because they sin differently than we do. I try my best to repent every single day because it is necessary. It`s not a punishment but a change of heart that shows our willingness to follow God. As a missionary I love being able to see people`s desire to change and follow Christ as their Savior. When I see people make such big changes off such great faith and then see the blessings that they receive because of it, it makes me very happy.
