Hi I'm Nicole

I am a wife of a retired Army officer, a mother of five, a grandmother, small business owner and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have spent most of my life moving. I moved at least eleven times as a child and then married my husband who served in the Army for twenty one years. Needless to say we moved eighteen times during those twenty one years. I have lived in many different states in the United States but never had the privilege to live over seas. I am a mother of five children and on granddaughter. I am a licensed cosmetologist and enjoying sewing. I have started my own small business using my skills as a seamstress. I enjoy nature and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the things the church teaches are true. I see the joy and peace the gospel has brought into my life and many other lives. I personally know my Savior, and have felt his guiding hand in my life. I feel his love through the good times and even more during the difficult times. I feel blessed that I know about him and how I am also a child of God. I am grateful to know his plan for me, to know where I came from, why I am here and where I am going. I know this life is just a short time and I have an eternity to look forward to. I am grateful for a living prophet. This world is so confusing it is nice to have a guide to tell me what direction the Lord would have all his children go.

How I live my faith

I have spent many years serving the children and youth in our church. Right now I am serving the children in our church ages 18 months-12 years. It is amazing how smart and strong the young people are. They want to do what is right and share their happiness with others. I am also assigned with another female to go and visit three others in our church. It is our responsibility to be there for these ladies if they need physical or spiritual needs. We meet with them at least once a month.
