Hi I'm Trevor Garn

I grew up in Utah. I am currently serving a mission in the Tallahassee Florida Mission. I love sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the wonderful city of Springville. Some of my hobbies are: Soccer, Video Games, long drives, swimming, basketball, hiking. When i return from my mission, I have been accepted to attend BYU and am looking into their computer programming section. I do not have a specific major, I am mainly going to explore what computers offer me and what I become interested in. Currently I am serving my mission in the Florida Tallahassee Mission and it is incredible.

Why I am a Mormon

Ever since i was young, I was taught by my family to love the Lord, to serve others, and work hard in all that i do. This is how I have been raised, and I can think of no better way to live my life. I choose to serve the Lord because I know his gospel is true. I have had many experiences where I have felt his spirit, and have had it confirmed to me that he is real. I know that when I am in need, he will be there for me, to guide and protect me in my life. I am grateful for my testimony, because it gives me direction, guidance, and knowledge of who I am, Why I am here, and where I am going.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings throughout the years i have been in my ward. I have been asked to be a leader for kids my age often, and participate in Sunday activities as much as possible. One focus I have as a leader is to encourage kids to come to the Sunday classes and learn of Heavenly Father and his gospel. Also, I try to encourage kids to come to the weekday activities, where we have fun, play games, and do scouting activities. It is very important that everyone feels welcome, so I am often asked to reach out and be friendly to those that are left out and lonely. By bringing those left out to our weekly activities and to church on Sundays, they can become a part of a group and feel accepted by others.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Trevor Garn
Much like the laws we have laws on this Earth we must obey, our Heavenly Father has eternal laws that he must follow. One of these is justice. Without Jesus Christ, we would have to suffer the consequences of every sin that we make. But through Christ's atonement we can be forgiven, and will also forget the pain and sorrows felt because of sins we have committed. Show more Show less
