Hi I'm Dallin

I was born and raised in American Fork, Utah. I love to serve, play sports, sing, and have fun! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Here is a little about me. I love to play sports and I played on the varsity soccer team for 2 years of high school and I play basketball with my friends in city leagues. I love to sing, I have recorded some songs and have sung in many different groups. I also love to serve! I serve every week at an Old Folks home for several hours. I plan on attending BYU after serving 2 years in the Scotland/Ireland mission. I want to attain a master's degree in Architecture with a major/minor in business. I also love art. I love to draw and create scratch art. I also love photography. I took a class in highschool and have fallen in love with taking pictures of basically anything. I own my own lawn mowing business in which we mow around 15 lawns a week. This has taught me the meaning of hard work in 90+ degree heat. I love the Gospel and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! I'm a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Gospel. My mom converted at age 16 and my dad has always been a member of the church. Both my parents served missions, my dad served in Boston and my mom served in Spain. I will be serving in Scotland/Ireland. I was baptized at age 8 and continue to follow His gospel. I choose to follow the His gospel because at a young age I came to know that this church was true. I have received my testimony over the years. I have felt the spirit while reading the scriptures, attending the temple, sitting in sacrament meeting, and singing hymns. I have chosen to serve a mission because I want to spread the Gospel to everyone. I want everyone to feel the spirit and to have the same happiness that I feel when I learn about the Gospel, and feel of God's love as I do when I read the scriptures. I believe that everyone should be given this opportunity. I am very excited for my chance to serve the Lord and spread His gospel to everyone. I would now like to bear my testimony that his church is true. That I have come to know for myself that Joseph Smith was a true and living prophet and that he did in reality see 2 personages, our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, in the sacred grove. I know that we have a living prophet on this earth today. I know that Christ suffered for our sins and died on the cross and that he rose upon the 3rd day. I know this church was true and that one day I can return to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that I can live with my family forever in His presence. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen. I am a Mormon and proud of it!!

How I live my faith

I participate in my community by serving the Old Folks homes in the area. I helped set up a singing group that goes every sunday and sings hymns and primary songs to the patients. I love being able to brighten their day and give them a ray of hope to hold onto throughout the next week. It really is a special experience. I am an Elder and a soon to be Missionary. I live my faith by serving the Lord and soon i will serve a mission in the Scotland/Ireland mission for 2 years. I actively complete my home teaching assignments and make sure my families are all cared for. I try to best live my faith by being a good example to those around me. I uphold all of my standards and try to help my friends do the same. I live my faith by my example in day to day living. I want people to want to get to know Christ and learn about the Gospel because they know me.
