Hi I'm Russell Coulston

Im just a normal kid from an average town. Love sports! Im now a missionary and I'm a mormon.

About Me

Im an 18 year old kid who is a recent graduate from Moses Lake High School! I played football and golf for 4 years and basketball for 2. I spent all the time i could on my boat:) I have 2 older brothers who are both return missionaries and sealed in the temple. I have 2 beautiful nieces and one sharp nephew. My parents are active in the mormon church however it wasnt always this way. My parents were in their late 20's when 2 missionarys knocked on their door. The reactivated my mom and baptized my dad. Because of it both my brothers have served missions and well, thats where we catch up to me. Im currently serving a mission in the Arizona Mesa Mission and loving life! My family is far from perfect but the love we have keeps us strong! I love them. I'm Russell, and I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were baptized about 6 years before I was born, so I was always active in the church. But with my parents background and with the amount of freedom they gave me it would have been easy to turn my back on the gosple. The reason I didnt is because I established my own testimony very early on. Even though for a long time I only stayed with my faith because it was familiar and I was comfortable with it. At the age of 15, through my personal study, I gained a testimony for the first time. Its been only growth ever sinse. That feeling I got at a not to long ago age of 15 was so magnificent I want to share it with all that I can!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. Ive only been a missionary for a week so thats not what im talking about. Back home all I ever wanted was for everyone to be happy so i excersized service because everyone wins! I try my hardest to be an example to those in my home ward. I shared the gospel with anyone who was willing to listen. Ive found that genuine love for strangers comes easy to me when I remember they are the same in Gods sight. And even more valuable because they are still lost. Thats why I've made the decision to serve a mission. I know that through my hardwork, obedience and my dilligence, I can find those lost sheep.
