Hi I'm Lex

I am from Utah, a runner, mother, and try everyday to be more like my Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love to be active and seek new ways to improve my families health through nutrition. I am a novice runner and love early mornings. I'm just an honest to goodness basic gal who loves to be with friends and give my kids new experiences. Strangely enough I also love to clean and organize. I find peace and joy when everything is clean and in order! I have 2 little ones and an amazing husband who reminds me a lot of Superman, actually. ha ha.

Why I am a Mormon

I remember the first time I knelt and honestly asked my Father in Heaven if Joseph Smith really saw Him and Jesus Christ. If The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was really the complete church on the earth. I was with a few friends from High School and we decided to ask together. We each said our own prayers privately. You could not ignore the peace and love that filled that room. The Spirit confirmed to each one of us that our prayers had been answered. Many many many times since then I have felt the confirmation that what I am learning and living it true and will help me return to my Father in Heaven. It is also a blast to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ!!!

How I live my faith

I teach songs about Jesus, love, family, and more... to the children at church. It is so much fun to watch them grow through music. My new saying is "A happy child is a child that sings." I love going each Sunday to be with those that share my beliefs and convictions. I have a love for anyone, it doesn't matter if there are differences between us, we are all Children of God.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Lex
We believe that tithing helps to build God's Kingdom on earth. It is a privilege and a blessing to pay one tenth back to the Lord. These funds help build temples, churches, preparing lesson materials and scriptures for learning, education, temple work, and much much more! Show more Show less
