Hi I'm Hal

I grew up in a farm town in Idaho, I'm a student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small farming town in western Idaho where the population is about 2,000. I love being active and some of my favorite things to do are play tennis, basketball, and soccer. I love my family which consists of my my mom and dad, an older sister, and four younger brothers. My favorite times are when I spend time with them. We do pretty normal things like wrestle each other and laugh until our sides hurt. I'm currently attending a university and planning on attending medical school in a couple years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because as I live the teachings of the church of Jesus Christ, I find happiness that lasts. I have found strength in Christ to overcome hard things, and I have faith that the future is bright.

How I live my faith

I believe in following the Savior Jesus Christ. I try to love and impact individuals as He did. I participate with a lot of service organizations on campus, and it has helped me see what the most important things in life are. The church has helped me develop a desire to serve and do good things for other people. The church has a program called home teaching where we visit and care for individuals in our ward. Experiences and relationships related to home teaching have taught me what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Many of these people have become my good friends.
