Hi I'm Mariel

I became a member at age 13 and being a part of this church has blessed me with love all around me, from Philippines =))

About Me

Hi! Mariel, 20. Philippines. I'm a pianist, I'm grateful to be a Mormon! =) ~Let your light so shine, that they may see your good works, & glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

My grandparents (mom's side) are Mormons but they were converted years after Mom had us (her family), & since I was personally not close with them , I never knew they lived another faith. The Lord provided a way when my elder brother investigated their church & became a member eventually. I was then curious of what my brother was being busy about although he sometimes teach us lessons that was very familiar to my spirit. We were visited by missionaries later on, & I saw how the gospel of Jesus Christ changed the atmosphere of our home. In my young age I decided to be baptized & receive the Holy Ghost. I was in my 2nd grade in highschool,(2006) that I had the firm choice to accept the goodness of my Heavenly Father. Months after each family member got baptized as well, & when my brother went on his mission & year 2008 we surprised him at the temple for our family sealing! :) That was so far the happiest day of my life :) I know the church is true. I know that Heavenly Father & Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith and he is the prophet of restoration. I know that the book of Mormon is the most correct book on this earth . I know families can be together forever. I know that we have a loving Heavenly Father & he prepared a way so we can live with him again. I know that Jesus Christ lives & He is our Savior. I know this things are true in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I've been a member of the church since 13 so I'm blessed that I grew up with young women values. At age 15 I became the pianist of our branch that just turned to a ward. Since then I received callings like beehive, miamaid & laurel president, & when I graduated from young women they called me as their secretary. Later on, I was called to be a beehive teacher. Now I'm 20 years old and about to serve my mission, looking back I'm very grateful to have the gospel & callings I had that taught me how to serve & love those I serve. ♥
