Hi I'm Rachel

I love my family. I love music. I love running. I love being happy. I love being a Mormon.

About Me

I love Southern Utah so much that I decided to stay in my home town to go to Southern Utah University for a year. After my mission here in Wisconsin I will return to SUU to complete my bachelor's in Chemistry! I've played the piano for most of my life and I've taught it for 5 years. I love to cook and bake for my family and friends! I quite enjoy going for long runs and I believe that P90x is the best series of workout videos ever made!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because there is nothing else on Earth that makes me happier! Being able to read the Book of Mormon and pray to my Heavenly Father any time I need is the greatest blessing in my life. I love to learn and every time I read the Book of Mormon I learn something new! It honestly applies to my life. I am 100% confident that being a Latter-day Saint is the best way to live, especially during this day and age. I love the standards of the church and I know that if I live by them that I will be blessed so much! I know Heavenly Father loves me and I love Him and being a Mormon is how I have chosen to follow Him and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I was raised as a member of the church by my wonderful parents. I always attended church with my family and had great experiences there. I came to the point that I needed to KNOW that the Book of Mormon is true because if it is true then everything else in the church is true too. I read it and learned for myself, as Joseph Smith did, that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true! I love it and want to share it with all those searching for happiness and truth in this world of changing values. It is something for me to always turn to during trials and hard times to give me peace and understanding. Doing service for others and working on gaining Christ-like attributes is how I live this faith. I have faith everyday in Jesus Christ and his Atonement for us, so that I can make it back to live with him and our Heavenly Father again.

Why is family so important to Mormons?
