Hi I'm Rachel

I was born and raised in Georgia, USA. I'm a college student and a full time daycare worker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love reading books, especially the Scriptures. When I'm not reading, I work at a daycare with the wonderful three year olds. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends that inspire and encourage me to come closer to our Father in Heaven. I plan to study Massage Therapy in the future.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was a child, maybe 7 years old, I decided to share my testimony with the rest of the congregation. Each time I chose to do this, it was the same "I know the church is true..." However this time I felt the warmth of the Spirit spread inside me and lost every word I knew. I began to cry at the pulpit from the fire burning within me unable to speak. This time I truly knew the church was true. I knew of the promises it held and the truth of the gospel teachings. At a very young age I was able to have a testimony of our loving Father in Heaven. As I grew, I learned more and loved every part of it. When I was 15, I knew that one day I would serve a mission. As that day approaches, I am reminded of the never ending love of the Lord. From the mistakes I've made to the lessons I've learned from those mistakes. I always know that the church is true and am reminded of when I was a child and felt the Saviors love for me. I know and believe He loves me and every person that ever was.

How I live my faith

I live and love my faith. It has brought me closer to our Father in Heaven in more ways than I can count. On many occasions I have had to teach lessons about our Savior and His servants. Each time I am able to teach or speak to the congregation, I find myself getting closer to the Lord and becoming more Christlike. I am truly blessed to be able to know of His teachings and to have the ability to share those teachings with others.
